The Rivers Edge Outfitters Experience

High quality bow hunting is what we are all about. Our operation was designed by bow hunters for bow hunters. We hunt The Missouri Breaks, which is without a doubt by far one of the best places in the world to archery elk hunt.

Whether it is spot and stock, calling, or hunting over water holes in Double Bull Blinds, we do everything we can to give you the opportunity for a successful hunt.

Our Mule deer, Whitetail deer, and Antelope are plentiful as well and offer an exciting and challenging hunt.

Archery or rifle hunting you will have a great time, enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful Big Sky of Montana.

Transportation

The nearest airport is in Billings, MT, where we will pick you up and drop you off after your hunting experience. If you wish to drive to Winnett, MT, car rentals are available at the airport.

Trophies

We care for your meat and trophies as if they were our own. We will package your trophy for your journey home or deliver it to one of our taxidermist. We take all the meat to the meat processor in Winnett. You may either take it with you when you leave or make arrangements with the processor for shipping. We do not cover the costs of meat processing, shipping expenses or taxidermy expenses.

Meals

We eat our breakfast and dinner at the award winning Kozy Korner Café in Winnett. You will not find finer food anywhere.

Lodging

We provide a nice clean comfortable cabin for our hunters to sleep in and store there gear. Our accommodations are comfortable and modest with hot showers, full kitchen and laundry facilities.

Applications and Deadline

Deer and Elk application deadline is March 15. Antelope and special permits is June 1.
We will send any applications that you need directly to you. All license and permit fees are at the client's expense. We do have Outfitter guaranteed tags available. These tags are more expensive, although some of our clients prefer them, as they are guaranteed and therefore you can plan your vacation ahead of time, with out the worry of whether or not you draw a tag.
